Who We Are
Hello prospective Mindscapers! Welcome to Mindscape Psychology and Allied Health. We are the leading adolescent and adult focused private practice in Sydney’s Inner West. We are centrally located on Norton St in Leichhardt, with easy public transport access and close to parking, shops, good coffee and great food. We love our Inner West community, and take opportunities to meet with local businesses, and network and connect with other practitioners in the area.
Our space is bright and inviting, with 3 consultation rooms and a comfy reception area. Our mission is to provide outstanding mental health care to the Inner West community, which to us means person-centred, tailored therapy, that best suits the client’s needs. For our clients, it means feeling understood, appreciated, and respected for who they are and what has happened in their lives.
Our team books in daily communal breaks so we always have time to decompress, chat, and have a sense of belonging. We love a laugh and a catch-up, and have set up the practice in a way that focuses on preventing burn out and promoting team wellbeing. We offer fortnightly individual peer supervision, monthly “Group Soup”, an annual 2-night team retreat, and basically use any excuse for tea and (usually vegan) treats.

You’ll have a wellbeing-focused diary. We’ve heard all those stories about private practitioners burning out, and we’ve been there too. That’s why we take active steps to prevent burn out and focus on the wellbeing of our team, including lots of breaks, ample admin time, supervision, mental health days, and of course, cake.

The boring but necessary bits
To be eligible for the role, you must:
Hold current registration as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist with AHPRA or be an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the AASW
Have or be able to obtain Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurances
Have or be able to obtain a Working With Children Check and Police Check
Have or be eligible to obtain a Medicare Provider Number
