Get to Know Us

Who We Are

Mindscape Psychology and Allied Health is a bright, vibrant space that welcomes adolescents and adults and supports them to thrive in our community. We are proud Inner Westies, and love the diversity that exists in Leichhardt and the surrounding suburbs, including within our client base, referral network, and in our own team. We’re close to good coffee, delicious food, public transport, and a huge range of other wonderful services to network with.

Our mission is to provide outstanding mental health care to the Inner West community. What does outstanding mean? For us, it means providing our clients with person-centred, tailored therapy, that best suits their needs. For our clients, it means feeling understood, appreciated, and respected for who they are and what’s happened in their lives.

We’ve seen and worked in those beige practices who offer a “one-size fits all” service. They’re boring, and our clients are done with that. And if you’re done with that too, come work with us at Mindscape!

We are:

  • Dedicated. We go above and beyond for clients and new enquiries.

  • Collaborative. We work together on projects and love to collaborate with other businesses.

  • Keen to connect. & enjoy learning about new people, practices and practitioners.

  • Authentic. We bring our whole selves to therapy - no 'therapy face'!

  • Innovative. We care about the future of mental health, psychologists and psychology issues.

Who We’re Looking For

You are:

  • Passionate about providing excellent Dietetics or Exercise/Movement-based support, with a mental health focus, to our community.

  • Creative, adventurous, and willing to be different! You make and create things, try new things, and you’re proud of your ideas. And most of all, you make time and follow through with them.

  • A team player and love working in a team, because you know you’ve got something valuable to contribute, and know how valuable diverse contributions can be.

  • Organised, oriented to processes, persistent, and get things done autonomously.

  • Flexible able to individualise or personalise a service, and prioritise tasks. No textbook rigidity here.

  • A people person. Connect quickly with clients, the families of clients, referrers, and networks, building strong rapport with genuineness, warmth and respect.

  • Drive and take the initiative, be motivated and enthusiastic, and lead projects.

  • Business minded, and committed to building your referral network and caseload.

Additionally, you will:

  • Have the space to be you, be creative, be inventive - and be supported while doing it! We love playing with new ideas, testing things out, and finding innovative solutions.

  • Provide individual, couple, or family consultations to children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based treatments.

  • Liaise and collaborate with other practitioners or services where appropriate for the benefit of our clients.

  • Contribute to or lead development on exciting and innovative group programs for a range of different presentations and client groups.

  • Contributing to regular marketing initiatives, including direct referrer contact, networking, and social media. Mentoring on marketing will be provided.
